The Dantherm AD 995 is a mobile condensation dehumidifier from the AD 9 series, designed for a particularly high dehumidification capacity. It removes up to 95 l/24 h at 30 °C / 80 % RH (46.5 l/24 h at 20 °C / 60 % RH) and is intended for professional applications in large areas such as industrial halls, warehouses, technical rooms and extensive water damage restoration. A condensate pump is fitted as standard and pumps the water away automatically up to a height of 4 m, so the unit never needs to be emptied manually. The unit uses the refrigerant R454C and has a sound level of 64 dB(A).

How it works

The AD 995 is operated via the CC6 control unit with a fully graphical display and three buttons. On the main screen you set the target humidity between 31 % and 99 % RH in 1 % steps; a setting of 30 % makes the unit run continuously. The fan runs at a slow (750 m³/h) or fast (900 m³/h) speed. In night mode the fan runs at the slow speed for 10 hours while the display counts down; afterwards the unit resumes dehumidifying at the fast speed. A colour-coded status indication (red, amber, green) shows the room conditions at a glance.

In the settings you choose whether the fan continues to circulate air when the target humidity is reached, and you can read the operating hours and software version. The automatic defrost function works in the background. An MID-approved kWh meter and a non-resettable hour counter are fitted as standard. The integrated interface accepts a plug-and-play dew point sensor and an external hygrostat (6.35 mm jack plug) for external on/off switching. The CC6 is prepared for wireless connection to Dantherm's optional remote monitoring system Simplify, and the software can be updated via SD card.

Key benefits

  • High capacity — up to 95 l/24 h at 30 °C / 80 % RH for large-area drying.
  • Integrated condensate pump — pumps the water up to 4 m high; no tank to empty, even during long operating periods or at hard-to-reach locations.
  • Simple CC6 operation — 3-button control, graphical display without translation, colour-coded status indication.
  • Transparent energy consumption — MID-approved kWh meter and non-resettable hour counter as standard.
  • Night mode — quieter running in occupied spaces for 10 hours.
  • Expandable control — plug-and-play connections for dew point sensor and external hygrostat, prepared for Simplify remote monitoring.
  • Mobile and service-friendly — large wheels and a telescopic handle; main components are accessible by removing the front/top cover.

Frequently asked questions

Does the condensate have to be emptied?
No. The AD 995 is fitted with a condensate pump as standard, which pumps the water away automatically via the supplied drain hose up to a height of 4 m. The drain hose must always be connected.

Can the AD 995 be controlled by an external hygrostat or a dew point sensor?
Yes. An external hygrostat is plugged into the integrated interface with a 6.35 mm jack plug; the unit is then set to continuous operation and switched on and off by the hygrostat. With the plug-and-play dew point sensor, the unit automatically switches to dew point operation and starts as soon as the temperature falls below the dew point. Both are optional accessories.

How does the night mode work?
In night mode the fan runs at the slow speed (750 m³/h) for 10 hours and the display counts down the remaining time. Afterwards the unit resumes dehumidifying at the fast fan speed. Switching the unit off or disconnecting the mains plug resets the night mode.

What maintenance does the AD 995 need?
With the unit switched off and unplugged, remove the air filter, clean it (e.g. with a vacuum cleaner) or replace it with an original filter, and check the discharge nozzle and drain hose. Work on the electrical components and the refrigeration circuit is reserved for the manufacturer or authorised personnel.
