Industrial & Process Air Drying
In industrial buildings, uncontrolled humidity is an operating risk, not a comfort issue. Moist air corrodes machinery, switchgear and steel structures; it spoils hygroscopic raw materials and packaged goods; it creates hygiene risks in food and pharmaceutical areas; and it forces unplanned downtime for cleaning, rework and repair. In production halls, processing areas, waterworks, pump stations and large warehouses, permanent dehumidification is therefore an engineering decision, not an appliance purchase: the system must be sized to the building, the process load and the target climate, and it must run reliably for years.
BMB Rheinland GmbH supplies stationary TROTEC drying systems as project equipment: selected for your application, quoted to fit your procurement process and delivered with complete manufacturer documentation.
Condensation vs. desiccant drying
Two physical principles cover the industrial spectrum:
Condensation drying (DH series): the air is cooled below its dew point and the condensate is drained away. This is the economical solution for standard industrial climates at normal hall temperatures, such as warehouses, production areas and water treatment buildings.
Desiccant drying (TTR series): a sorption rotor binds the moisture and discharges it via regeneration air. Adsorption systems keep working where condensation technology reaches its limits: at low temperatures, at very low target humidity levels and in process-critical drying applications.
Stainless steel (ES) variants: for hygiene-critical or corrosive environments, the ES versions provide the required corrosion resistance with identical drying performance.
