Clean classroom air is a duty of care - and a performance factor

Classrooms concentrate 20 to 30 people in a closed room for hours. In winter, windows stay shut, respiratory viruses circulate, and in many cities fine dust from traffic and heating makes 'just air it out' a poor answer. Mobile HEPA H14 air cleaning units remove the particles that carry viruses and bacteria as well as fine dust (PM2.5/PM10) from room air - continuously, measurably and independently of window ventilation.

Why HEPA H14 - and not a consumer air purifier

  • 99.995% separation at the most-penetrating particle size (EN 1822): H14 is the filter class used in cleanrooms and operating theatres. Consumer devices typically use H13 or lower-grade filters.
  • Air volumes sized for classrooms: a classroom of 60-80 m2 needs an air change rate of 4-6 per hour to meaningfully reduce aerosol load. Our TAC units deliver 1,000-1,200 m3/h of true H14-filtered air - consumer devices rarely exceed 300 m3/h under real conditions.
