Shipping Policy

1. Delivery basis and Incoterms
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, deliveries are made EXW Heinsberg, Germany, Incoterms 2020. If transport is arranged or assisted by BMB Rheinland GmbH at the Customer's request, this constitutes an additional logistical service. The transfer of risk agreed under EXW remains unaffected, unless a different Incoterm has been expressly confirmed in writing.
2. Destination coverage
BMB Rheinland GmbH delivers in principle within the European Union, to EFTA member states, to the United Kingdom, to selected Western Balkan states, to Turkey, to North Africa, to the member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council, to Israel, to selected Asian states, to Australia and New Zealand, as well as to further destination countries specifically displayed during the order process. A binding delivery commitment is given only upon order confirmation.
3. Lead times
Lead times are non-binding estimates. Where stock is available, shipment is in principle made within the following indicative periods after order confirmation:
- Germany: one to three business days
- EU mainland: two to seven business days door-to-door
- EU islands, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, United Kingdom, Norway, Crown Dependencies, Iceland: three to ten business days
- Middle East, Asia, Australia / New Zealand, Africa, North Africa: five to fourteen business days by air freight
- Self-collection at the TROTEC partner warehouse in Heinsberg: ready as a rule within 24 hours of order confirmation
Binding delivery dates require express written confirmation.
4. Freight charges
The freight charges displayed during the order process are flat per shipping zone. For bulk orders, pallet shipments or container shipments, an individual freight calculation may be necessary; BMB Rheinland GmbH issues a consolidated freight quote on request to sales@bmbrheinlandgmbh.com.
5. Free shipping
For deliveries within Germany, the EU mainland, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, the United Kingdom, Gibraltar, Norway, the Crown Dependencies and Iceland, orders with a net order value of EUR 5,000.00 or more are shipped carriage-paid. For EU islands (Malta, Cyprus) the threshold is EUR 8,000.00, for the Faroe Islands EUR 10,000.00, for Greenland EUR 20,000.00. For the Western Balkans and Turkey EUR 10,000.00 applies; for North Africa EUR 12,000.00. For shipments to the Middle East, Israel, the Asia hub, Australia and New Zealand and Sub-Saharan Africa, flat freight rates apply per shipping zone with no automatic free-shipping threshold; consolidated freight quotes are available on request.
6. Import duties, import VAT and customs clearance outside the EU
For deliveries to countries outside the European Union, the Customer shall bear all import duties, customs duties, import VAT, governmental charges, customs clearance costs and any other costs arising in the destination country, unless delivery on a DDP basis has been expressly agreed in writing. These charges are not included in the freight price displayed during the order process and are invoiced to the Customer directly by the carrier or by the competent customs authority.
7. Self-collection (Ex Works)
For specific destination countries (in particular Ukraine and selected states of South Asia), delivery is made on an EXW basis only. The Customer, or a freight forwarder commissioned by the Customer, collects the goods at the TROTEC partner warehouse in Heinsberg upon receipt of a collection notification. All onward costs, including transport, insurance, export procedures, import duties and taxes, are borne by the Customer.
8. Export documents
For international shipments, BMB Rheinland GmbH provides the following export documents: commercial invoice, packing list, where applicable a supplier's declaration, the EN 1822 HEPA H14 test certificate, the EC declaration of conformity and a confirmation as authorised distribution partner of TROTEC GmbH. On request and against reimbursement of the relevant fees, BMB Rheinland GmbH additionally provides: certificate of origin issued by the IHK Düsseldorf; Arabic translation of the commercial invoice with IHK certification; consular legalisation for selected GCC states; SASO/SABER conformity documents (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia); ECAS conformity documents (United Arab Emirates).
9. Transport damage
Externally visible transport damage should, where possible, be documented immediately upon delivery with the carrier and must be notified to BMB Rheinland GmbH in writing or in text form without undue delay. Otherwise the provisions of our Refund and Defect Policy and the General Terms and Conditions apply.
10. Tracking
Once the carrier takes over the shipment, BMB Rheinland GmbH sends a tracking number by e-mail. For EXW deliveries, a collection notification with an individual collection code is sent instead.
