TROTEC TTR 3700 – Stationary Industrial Desiccant Dehumidifier
Project item — manufactured to order: typical lead time 3–4 months, shorter where standard units are available. Configuration and manufacturer accessories are specified with your quotation; we support sizing, framework agreements and tenders, and confirm the exact schedule on order.
The TROTEC TTR 3700 is a stationary adsorption (desiccant) dehumidifier for permanent, ducted installation where larger production halls and process areas need dependable, deep drying. It handles a nominal 3,700 m³/h of dry air and extracts up to 20.5 kg of moisture per hour, sustaining low dew points continuously and independently of how cold or dry the incoming air already is.
How it works
The TTR 3700 dries by adsorption rather than cooling. A slowly turning desiccant rotor, coated with a hygroscopic silica-gel material, captures water vapour from the process air as it passes through. A second, heated air stream regenerates the rotor on the opposite sector, releasing the collected moisture to the outside as warm, humid exhaust. This continuous rotation gives an uninterrupted supply of dry air and lets the unit reach very low humidity levels that lie beyond the practical range of refrigerant dehumidifiers.
Key benefits
- Low dew points on demand — holds target humidity even in cold, low-load conditions.
- Built for continuous operation — suited to permanent process duty in production environments.
- Generous airflow reserve — nominal 3,700 m³/h and up to 4,300 m³/h for ducted distribution.
- Fixed, ducted installation — integrates into supply and regeneration ductwork as permanent plant.
- Automation friendly — BACnet and further integration options available on request.
- Made in Germany — supplied with complete manufacturer documentation.
Typical applications
- Food and pharmaceutical production halls with strict humidity limits
- Freeze-drying and moisture-sensitive process lines
- Dry storage, packaging and warehousing of hygroscopic goods
- Waterworks, pump houses and plant rooms exposed to condensation
