The TROTEC TTR 5200 is a high-capacity stationary adsorption (desiccant) dehumidifier for permanent, ducted installation in demanding industrial process drying. With a nominal 5,200 m³/h of dry air and up to 29.1 kg of moisture removed per hour, it serves large volumes and multi-zone processes where humidity must be held low and steady around the clock.
How it works
Drying is achieved by adsorption on a rotating desiccant wheel rather than by condensation. As process air flows through the silica-gel-loaded rotor, moisture is bound onto the desiccant surface; a heated regeneration stream continuously reactivates the rotor on a separate sector and expels the captured water as humid exhaust. The result is a steady flow of very dry air and dependable performance at low temperatures and low relative humidity, where cooling-based dryers cannot maintain the required dew point.
