TROTEC TTR 800 – Stationary Industrial Desiccant Dehumidifier
Project item — manufactured to order: typical lead time 3–4 months, shorter where standard units are available. Configuration and manufacturer accessories are specified with your quotation; we support sizing, framework agreements and tenders, and confirm the exact schedule on order.
The TROTEC TTR 800 is a stationary industrial desiccant (adsorption) dehumidifier for demanding continuous process duty, delivering a nominal 750 m³/h of dry air and up to 3.6 kg of water removal per hour. Unlike condensation units, it holds stable low dew points even at low temperatures and low humidity — the regime where refrigerant dryers lose efficiency.
How it works
The TTR 800 dries air by adsorption. Humid process air passes through a slowly rotating desiccant rotor that captures water vapour directly from the airstream. A separate heated regeneration airflow then drives the collected moisture back out of the rotor and expels it, so the rotor is continuously re-activated. Because drying does not depend on cooling below a dew point, the unit stays effective in cold and very dry conditions.
Key benefits
- Deep, stable drying — maintains low dew points even at low temperature and low relative humidity.
- Continuous process capacity — up to 3.6 kg/h (86.4 kg/24h) moisture removal for round-the-clock operation.
- High dry-air output — 750 m³/h nominal, up to 950 m³/h maximum air volume flow.
- Building-management ready — integration options such as BACnet connectivity available on request.
- Three-phase industrial supply — 3/PE/380–480 V, 50–60 Hz for stable performance.
Typical applications
- Pharmaceutical and food production requiring controlled low humidity.
- Freeze-drying and dry-storage processes.
- Waterworks and technical facilities operating at low temperatures.
- Moisture-sensitive manufacturing and packaging lines.
