The TROTEC TTR 8200 is the largest stationary adsorption (desiccant) dehumidifier in this range, built for permanent, ducted installation on the most demanding industrial drying projects. With a nominal 8,200 m³/h of dry air and up to 46.2 kg of moisture removed per hour, it delivers maximum throughput for expansive facilities and central humidity-control systems that run continuously.
How it works
Like the rest of the TTR series, the 8200 dries by adsorption rather than condensation. Process air passes through a slowly rotating desiccant rotor loaded with hygroscopic silica gel, which draws the moisture out of the air stream; a heated regeneration stream simultaneously reactivates the rotor on a separate sector and expels that moisture as humid exhaust. The continuous rotor cycle provides an uninterrupted volume of very dry air and maintains deep, stable dew points at low temperatures and low relative humidity that lie beyond the reach of refrigerant dehumidification.
