The TROTEC VE 4 S is the no-frills workhorse among the MultiQube side channel blowers: 150 m³/h air flow from a 1.1 kW motor, usable in both suction and pressure operation, at the sharpest price point in its class. It dries insulation layers of up to 40 m² in negative-pressure mode and up to 50 m² in positive-pressure mode, and its impact-resistant ABS housing stacks flush with every other MultiQube module on site and in the van.
How it works
Access openings are drilled through the screed into the insulation layer. In suction mode the VE 4 S pulls the moist air out of the insulation through these openings — always combined with an upstream MultiQube water separator and filter chain that captures water and particles before the air stream reaches the blower. In pressure mode the flow is reversed and the blower pushes air into the insulation layer, forcing the moisture out through relief openings. A 3 mm protective grille on the intake and outlet channels keeps coarse particles out of the compressor stage.
