The TROTEC Qube+ packs a complete insulation drying installation into one machine: a VX-5 drying turbine, WA 4i water separator, HEPA filter module and NR 19 silencer, factory-fitted in a robust, stackable aluminium cabinet. With up to 250 m³/h air flow and 220 mbar suction it handles negative-pressure insulation drying from roughly 10 m² up to 85 m² per unit — replacing a full MultiQube tower while being around 50% lighter and smaller.

How it works

Access openings are drilled through the screed into the insulation layer. In suction operation the Qube+ draws the moist air out of the insulation through these openings; entrained water is captured in the integrated separator stage before the air passes the 4-stage filter system — with an optional HEPA insert for sensitive environments — and exits through the silencer. The sensor-based HiDry automatic continuously measures the actual volume flow and regulates the four-stage turbine so the flow optimum is held with the minimum required power (0.2–1.2 kW depending on level), instead of wasting energy against falling resistance as the floor dries out.

Key benefits

  • Four machines in one — turbine, water separator, HEPA filtration and silencer come pre-installed and ready to connect; multi-device hosing is eliminated entirely.
  • HiDry volume-flow control — power follows the required air flow, not the resistance, so energy consumption drops steadily as drying progresses.
  • Wide working range — the adaptronic power control spans duties otherwise covered by 0.4 kW to 3 kW side channel blowers, for areas from about 10 m² to 85 m².
  • Resident-friendly operation — 48–59 dB(A) at 3 m plus a dedicated whisper mode for night operation in occupied buildings.
  • Transparent monitoring — Optiflow NT multifunction display with plain-text status, digital counters for operating hours and energy, and a DA 4 interface for real-time remote monitoring of drying progress.
  • Integrated thermal protection — sensors reduce output before critical internal temperatures are reached and resume regular operation automatically.

Typical applications

  • Insulation layer drying after water damage in apartments, offices and public buildings
  • Screed insulation drying for restoration contractors and professional drying services
  • Projects in occupied buildings where low noise and filtered exhaust air are mandatory
  • Flexible use within existing MultiQube drying setups
