The TROTEC IDE 60 is an indirect oil-fired fan heater with 60 kW of nominal heating power and an air volume of 2,000 m³/h. It supplies large volumes of clean, dry warm air for typical oil heating tasks on construction sites, in halls and workshops or in agriculture. Its combustion gases do not mix with the warm air; they leave the unit through a flue connection and have to be led outside.
How it works
The burner runs on diesel or heating oil. The air to be heated is kept completely separate from the combustion: the axial fan guides it past the heat exchanger, the enlarged surface of the combustion chamber, and at the same time supplies the combustion air. The combustion products are carried away to the outside through a flue. When the optionally available flue gas discharge is used, neither combustion products nor water vapour reach the room air, and the unit can then also be used for heating enclosed rooms. A built-in thermostat with a digital dual display for set and actual value controls the temperature.
