The TROTEC IDE 80 is an indirect oil-fired fan heater with 80 kW of nominal heating power and an air volume of 2,000 m³/h. It is designed for heating construction sites, workshops, halls and agricultural buildings and runs on diesel or heating oil. The heated air stays separate from the combustion chamber; the exhaust gases leave the unit through a flue connection and have to be led outside.
How it works
In an indirect heater the air to be heated is completely separated from the combustion chamber. The axial fan moves the air past the heat exchanger, the enlarged surface of the combustion chamber, and blows it out as clean, dry warm air; the same fan also supplies the combustion air. The combustion products are discharged to the outside through a flue. With the optionally available flue gas discharge fitted, no combustion products and no water vapour enter the room air, so the unit can then also be used to heat enclosed rooms. Temperature is controlled by an integrated thermostat with a digital dual display for set and actual value.
