The Dantherm AD 935 is a condensation dehumidifier of the latest Dantherm AD 9 series for professional use, from water damage restoration to industrial storage. It removes up to 34 l/24h (30 °C / 80 % RH) and 16.5 l/24h at 20 °C / 60 % RH, collects the condensate in an 8 l water container and offers a hose connection and an optional pump set. Power input is 610 W at 230 V, 50 Hz, the sound pressure level 51 dB(A), and the unit uses the low-GWP refrigerant R454C (GWP 146).

How it works

The AD 935 works on the condensation principle: room air passes the cooled evaporator, the moisture condenses and the drier air is returned to the room. A two-stage axial fan moves 300 m³/h (stage 1) or 420 m³/h (stage 2); in night mode it runs at 300 m³/h for 10 hours for quiet operation in occupied rooms. The condensate collects in the 8 l water container; when it is full, the unit switches off automatically and shows a symbol on the display. Alternatively the water drains through a hose on the Ø 15 mm connection or is pumped away with the optional pump set, which the unit detects automatically.

The CC 6 control unit has a graphic, language-independent display with colour-coded status indication (red, yellow, green) and simple three-button operation. You set the target humidity (31 % to 99 % RH; 30 % = continuous operation), the fan speed and night mode. A dew point sensor and an external hygrostat can be connected plug-and-play, software updates are installed via SD card, and the CC 6 connects to the Dantherm Group remote monitoring solution Simplify.

Key benefits

  • 34 l/24h dehumidification — up to 34 litres per day at 30 °C / 80 % RH and 16.5 litres per day at 20 °C / 60 % RH with 610 W power input.
  • Several drainage options — hose connection (Ø 15 mm), integrated 8 l water container and optional pump set with automatic pump detection.
  • CC 6 control with remote access — colour-coded status display, three-button operation, SD-card software updates and connection to the Simplify remote monitoring solution.
  • Energy and runtime records — MID-approved kWh meter and non-resettable operating hours counter as standard.
  • Service-friendly design — removable front or top cover for quick access to all maintenance-relevant components; modular construction for easy replacement of damaged parts and standardised Dantherm components for spare parts supply.
  • Easy to move and store — large wheels, telescopic handle and stackable design for space-saving storage.
  • Night mode — quieter operation in occupied rooms.
  • R454C refrigerant — refrigerant with a GWP factor of 146.

Operating conditions and installation

  • Operating temperature: 5 °C to 30 °C
  • Relative humidity: 30 % to 90 % RH
  • Minimum room size: floor area larger than 4 m²; operate only in a sufficiently ventilated room
  • Electrical supply: 230 V, 50 Hz, 610 W, 5 m power cable; connect only to an earthed socket protected by a residual current device (RCD)
  • Installation: place upright on a level, firm surface and secure against tipping; keep at least 1 m clearance in front of the air outlet and the air intake; let the unit rest for about 15 minutes before first start, after transport and after longer storage
  • Drain hose: recommended hose size 15 mm; end of hose lower than the drain connection with a slope of at least 5 % (5 cm per metre); do not kink the hose or put its end into water
  • Not for use in explosive or aggressive atmospheres, in wet areas of swimming pools, in rooms with salt or saline liquids (salt content > 1 %), with water outside pH 7.0 to 7.4, or with ozone-treated air, high solvent concentration or high dust load

Frequently asked questions

How can the condensate of the AD 935 be drained?
There are three options: the integrated 8 l water container, a hose on the Ø 15 mm drain connection, or the optional pump set 2002341, which the unit detects automatically. When the water container is full, the unit switches off and shows a symbol on the display.

Which electrical supply does the AD 935 need?
230 V, 50 Hz with a power input of 610 W. The manufacturer requires an earthed socket protected by a residual current device (RCD); the power cable is 5 m long.

Can the AD 935 be stacked for transport and storage?
Yes. The manufacturer lists the AD 935 as stackable for space-saving storage, and the large wheels and telescopic handle make it easy to move between sites.

How is maintenance carried out on the AD 935?
The front or top cover can be removed for quick access to all maintenance-relevant components, and the modular design allows damaged parts to be replaced easily. A spare filter for the AD 935 is available under number 2004639.
