Master DH 44 – Condensation Dehumidifier (41 l/day)
Available to order: typical lead time 5–10 working days. We confirm the exact date after your order or enquiry.
The Master DH 44 is a professional, mobile condensation dehumidifier for controlling humidity in large rooms such as warehouses, construction sites and workshops. It removes up to 41 l/24h with an air flow of 480 m³/h, collects the water in a 12-litre tank or drains it continuously through a hose, and works from 1 °C to 32 °C. Its purpose is to counter moisture problems that cause damage to buildings and materials and mould growth.
How it works
The DH 44 works on the condensation principle: humid air is drawn in, passes through a washable filter and gives up its moisture on the cold evaporator. The condensed water collects in the 12-litre tank or can be drained continuously via a hose connection. A level switch stops the unit automatically when the tank is full.
On the control panel you set the desired relative humidity between 30 % and 98 %; the built-in hygrostat then controls operation. Alternatively the unit can run continuously, regardless of the current humidity. The panel has POWER, HUMIDITY % (– / +) and HOURS buttons with indicators for power, alarm, working and tank full. Hot gas defrosting keeps the unit working reliably at lower temperatures, and the auto-restart function restarts it after a power failure.
Key benefits
- 41 l/24h capacity — high dehumidification capacity and 480 m³/h air flow for large rooms.
- Tank or continuous drainage — 12-litre water tank with automatic shut-off when full, or hose connection for continuous drainage.
- Adjustable target humidity — built-in hygrostat with setting range 30 % to 98 % r.h., plus continuous operation.
- Works at low temperatures — automatic hot gas defrosting for operation from 1 °C.
- Long-lasting steel casing — robust steel housing for professional use.
- Easy to move — large wheels and handle bring the 43 kg unit to where it is needed.
- Restarts after power failure — auto-restart function and operating hours counter for unattended use and service planning.
Typical applications
- Warehouses
- Construction sites and building drying
- Workshops
- Restoration work and water damage control
Operating conditions and installation
- Operating temperature: 1 °C to 32 °C; relative humidity: 30 % to 98 % r.h.
- Electrical supply: 220–240 V, 50 Hz; power consumption 0.61 kW. According to the manual the unit must always be connected to an earthed supply that complies with local electrical safety regulations. When powered by a generator, the manual requires a generator of class G3 or higher.
- For indoor use only. Place the unit upright with adequate air flow, keep the air outlet unobstructed and avoid recirculation between intake and outlet; do not place it in cramped spaces or where it can come into contact with water.
- Before first use, fit the handles, wheels and hardware packed with the unit. Empty the tank and unplug the unit before moving it.
- The unit contains the flammable refrigerant R1234yf: do not place it in rooms with ignition sources in continuous operation (e.g. open flames, operating gas appliances or electric heaters).

Frequently asked questions
Do I have to empty the tank by hand?
Not necessarily. The DH 44 collects water in a 12-litre tank and switches off automatically when it is full, but it also has a hose connection for continuous drainage. An optional Master water pump (item 4512.441) is available for the DH 44.
Can the DH 44 run continuously regardless of humidity?
Yes. Besides the hygrostat mode with a target value between 30 % and 98 % r.h., the unit can be set to run continuously, independent of the current humidity.
Can I run the DH 44 from a generator on a construction site?
Yes, according to the manual the generator must be class G3 or higher (frequency variation ±1 %, voltage variation ±2 %). The unit needs a 220–240 V, 50 Hz earthed supply.
How is the unit transported and maintained?
The 43 kg unit moves on wheels with a handle. Before moving it, empty the tank and unplug it, and keep it upright. The air filter is washable; the manual specifies cleaning with a damp cloth only, never with water jets.
