The Master DHP 55 is a robust condensation dehumidifier for professional continuous use in construction, industry and technical buildings. It removes up to 45.9 l/24h (at 30 °C / 80 % r.h.) with an air flow of 340 m³/h and operates from 5 °C to 35 °C. An integrated condensate pump with 3 m delivery head drains the water automatically, and the rotomoulded, stackable housing is built for harsh environments.

How it works

The DHP 55 condenses moisture from the room air on a cooled evaporator. The integrated condensate pump conveys the water automatically through the 3 m drain hose to higher drains or remote collection points, so the unit can run without interruption. An optional 5-litre water tank can be used in the pump compartment instead.

The electronic control panel with digital humidity sensor shows the room humidity and temperature. You set the target humidity with the "+" / "–" buttons (30 % to 90 % per the manual); setting the lowest value ("CO") gives continuous operation. The panel also offers delayed switch-on and switch-off, an operating hours counter and icons for dehumidifying, defrosting, ventilation and a blocked pump, which stops the compressor and fan and sounds an alarm. Defrosting at low room temperatures starts automatically.

Key benefits

  • Integrated condensate pump — automatic drainage with 3 m delivery head for uninterrupted operation, also to higher drains.
  • Precise digital control — electronic control panel with digital humidity sensor and operating hours counter.
  • Built for harsh use — robust, rotomoulded housing for demanding environments.
  • Easy to service — the housing opens easily for cleaning and maintenance.
  • Space-saving storage — stackable design saves space in transport and storage.
  • Safe to move — large rubber wheels for comfortable transport, also on uneven ground.
  • Ready to connect — 3 m drain hose with Velcro fastening and 3 m power cable included.
  • Future-proof refrigerant — natural refrigerant R290 with GWP 3 (150 g, 0.00045 t CO2 equivalent); R290 is not a fluorinated greenhouse gas under the EU F-gas Regulation (EU) 2024/573.

Typical applications

  • Agriculture
  • Commercial buildings
  • Construction
  • Data centres and telecommunications
  • Industry, factories and production
  • Museums and galleries
  • Warehouses and storage
  • Water damage restoration

Operating conditions and installation

  • Operating temperature: 5 °C to 35 °C; relative humidity: 20 % to 90 % r.h.
  • Electrical supply according to the operating manual: ~220–240 V, 50 Hz, earthed socket; cable length 3 m. Do not use extension cables, relays or adapters.
  • For indoor use only; not in rooms smaller than 4 m², cabinets, boats, caravans, swimming pools, washrooms or similar wet areas, or in potentially explosive environments.
  • The unit contains the flammable refrigerant R290: observe the safety instructions in the operating manual and keep it away from ignition sources.
  • Operate upright on a flat, level surface, at least 50 cm from any objects; keep air inlet and outlet free.
  • After transport or tilting, let the unit stand upright for 12 hours before connecting it to the mains. Do not tilt more than 45° when moving it.
  • Position the drain hose in a suitable place for the water before switching on; the pump starts automatically (delivery head 3 m water column).
  • Stacking: the manual permits one dehumidifier on top of another, no more.

Frequently asked questions

Where does the condensate go?
The integrated pump starts automatically and pumps the water through the supplied 3 m drain hose with a delivery head of 3 m, e.g. to a higher drain or a remote collection point. If the pump is blocked, the "water drain" icon lights up, compressor and fan stop and an acoustic signal sounds every 5 minutes.

Can the DHP 55 work without a drain?
Yes, with the optional 5-litre water tank (item 4250.320), which is used in the pump compartment. When the tank is full, the unit stops and the tank must be emptied manually.

Can several units be stacked?
The housing is shaped for stacking during transport and storage. The manual allows one dehumidifier to be placed on top of another; do not stack more than that.

What should I observe before the first start?
Fit the transport handle with the screws on the side, let the unit stand upright for 12 hours after transport or tilting, place it at least 50 cm from objects and lay the drain hose before switching on. Then press ON/OFF and set the target humidity with "+" / "–".
