The TROTEC TTK 140 S is a compact, professional mobile refrigerant dehumidifier (condensation dryer) for construction drying, water-damage restoration and continuous dehumidification. With an extraction capacity of up to 28.5 litres per day (at 30 °C / 80 % RH), it keeps construction sites, basements, storage and utility rooms reliably dry.
How it works
The TTK 140 S dries the air on the condensation principle. Its fan draws humid room air over a cold evaporator coil, where the moisture condenses out and collects in the 6 l tank or drains away continuously. The dried air is returned to the room, and repeating this cycle steadily lowers the relative humidity. An automatic hot-gas defrost keeps the coil clear so the unit maintains output even in cool conditions, and the IPX1-rated housing withstands the damp environments typical of restoration and building sites. It runs on the natural refrigerant R290.
