TROTEC TTK 75 ECO – Construction Dryer, 4-Pack (up to 21 l/day per unit)
Available to order: typical lead time 5–10 working days. We confirm the exact date after your order or enquiry.
This package contains four identical TROTEC TTK 75 ECO dehumidifiers for building drying. Each unit removes up to 21 l/24h (20 l/24h at 30 °C / 80 % r.h.) with an air flow of 260 m³/h and is recommended for dry-keeping rooms up to 45 m² / 110 m³. With 20 kg, compact dimensions of 295 x 305 x 562 mm and a retractable metal carrying handle, each unit is carried rather than rolled, which helps on stairs, in attics, basements and narrow spaces. Hot gas defrosting keeps the units running in unheated rooms at low temperatures, and the built-in operating hours counter records how long each unit has run. The pack suits contractors who run several units at the same time, for example for screed and plaster drying, water damage restoration or rental. Pallet shipment: all four units are delivered together on one Euro pallet (1200 x 800 mm); the pallet delivery charge is shown at checkout. Please make sure the pallet can be received and unloaded at the delivery address.
How it works
The TTK 75 ECO works on the condensation principle: the fan draws humid room air through the air filter, the evaporator and the condenser. On the cold evaporator the air is cooled below its dew point, the moisture condenses and drips into the 4 l condensate tank, which is fitted with a float. The dried air is slightly warmed at the condenser and blown back into the room. According to the manual, the unit can lower the relative humidity to approx. 30 %.
Operation is deliberately simple: the unit has an on/off switch, a tank indicator lamp and the operating hours counter, but no hygrostat, no timer and no display. After switching on, the unit starts dehumidifying in continuous mode; the compressor starts approx. 3 minutes later and the fan runs until the unit is switched off. The unit stops automatically when the tank is full or not inserted correctly. If the evaporator starts to ice up, a special valve opens and diverts hot gas from the refrigerant circuit to the evaporator (hot gas bypass defrosting). According to TROTEC, this gives considerably shorter defrost phases than circulating air defrosting and allows effective dehumidification below 15 °C, for example in unheated rooms. The five-digit operating hours counter shows the cumulative running time.
Key benefits
- Hot gas defrosting — bypass defrosting with short defrost phases for effective dehumidification also below 15 °C, for example in unheated rooms or in winter.
- Operating hours counter — records the cumulative running time for documentation towards insurers, building owners or clients and for hour-based billing in rental.
- Portable and compact — 20 kg, 295 x 305 x 562 mm and a retractable metal carrying handle that sits flush with the housing; easy to carry up stairs and through narrow access points.
- Simple operation — switch on and the unit dehumidifies continuously, with no settings required for quick initial drying.
- Continuous drainage possible — hose connection for a 10 mm drain hose; with the optional external condensate pump the condensate can be pumped up to a height difference of 5 m.
- Tank monitoring — tank indicator lamp and overflow protection with automatic shut-off when the 4 l tank is full.
- Natural refrigerant R290 — propane with a GWP of 3 (100 g, CO2 equivalent 0.0003 t), rolling piston compressor and coated steel housing with cable holders.
Typical applications
- Stairwells, attics and basements: portable and fits through narrow access points
- Screed and plaster drying: hot gas defrosting allows continuous operation even at low room temperatures
- Water damage restoration: the operating hours counter provides a record for insurance billing
- Rental and multiple use: hour-based billing via the operating hours counter
- Small commercial areas and side rooms, as well as permanent dry-keeping of stores, archives, laboratories and garages
Operating conditions and installation
- Operating range: 5 °C to 32 °C and 30 % to 90 % r.h.
- Electrical supply: 220 - 240 V, 50 Hz; power consumption 0.35 kW; rated current 1.5 A; recommended fuse protection 10 A; current required at start-up 7 A; plug CEE 7/7. According to the manual, the unit must be protected on site by a residual current device (RCD) in line with regulations.
- According to the manual the unit has no protection against water (IPX0): never use it where dripping, spraying or running water can enter the unit, do not use it outdoors and do not place it on wet or flooded floors.
- Refrigerant R290: install, operate and store the unit only in rooms with a floor area of more than 4 m², in which refrigerant losses cannot accumulate and without continuously open flames or other ignition sources.
- Minimum distances to walls and objects: 50 cm above, behind, at the sides and in front.
- Set up and operate the unit only upright and stable on a level, firm surface, and do not operate it without the air filter. The feet may mark the floor; use a suitable mat to protect the surface.
- Transport the unit upright with an empty condensate tank and drained hose, and set it up upright again after transport.
Scope of delivery
4 x the scope of delivery of the single unit as stated in the manual:
- 4 x TTK 75 ECO dehumidifier
- 4 x air filter

Frequently asked questions
Can I set a target humidity on the TTK 75 ECO?
No. The TTK 75 ECO has no hygrostat, no timer and no display. After switching on, it dehumidifies continuously until it is switched off or the condensate tank is full; it then stops automatically.
Is a drain hose included?
No. The scope of delivery per unit is the dehumidifier, the air filter and the manual. For continuous drainage, connect a suitable hose with a diameter of 10 mm to the hose connection and lead it through the opening in the side panel to a drain or a sufficiently large container. TROTEC states that the optional external condensate pump (item 6.100.003.020) overcomes a height difference of up to 5 m.
What does the operating hours counter record?
It records the cumulative running time of each unit on a five-digit display. This is useful wherever drying times have to be documented towards insurers, building owners or clients, and for hour-based billing when units are rented out.
Does the TTK 75 ECO work in unheated rooms?
Yes, within its operating range of 5 °C to 32 °C. The hot gas bypass defrosting keeps defrost phases short, which according to TROTEC is a prerequisite for effective dehumidification below 15 °C, for example in unheated rooms.
How should the units be transported?
According to the manual, switch the unit off, unplug it, empty the condensate tank and the drain hose and transport the unit upright, using the carrying handle. After transport, set the unit up upright again.
Can I order a different quantity?
This offer is a pack of four units. For other quantities, please request a quote.
