The TROTEC TTR 10000 is a stationary desiccant dehumidifier engineered for round-the-clock industrial process drying, removing up to 55.1 kg of moisture per hour (1322.4 kg/24h at 20 °C / 60 % r.h.) from air volumes of up to 10,500 m³/h. It is built for permanently installed, ducted operation in pharmaceutical and food production, freeze-drying, dry storage and waterworks, where a stable low dew point must be held regardless of ambient temperature.

How it works

The TTR 10000 dries air by adsorption rather than by cooling. Process air is drawn through a slowly rotating desiccant rotor — a honeycomb matrix coated with silica gel — whose pores capture water vapour directly from the airstream. A separate, heated regeneration airstream continuously drives the captured moisture back out of the rotor and expels it outside, so the wheel is always ready to adsorb again. Because the process does not rely on condensation, it reaches very low dew points and stays effective at low temperatures and low relative humidity, where refrigerant dehumidifiers lose efficiency. As a stationary unit it is ducted into the building and sized for large, continuous air volumes.

Key benefits

  • Deep drying at low temperatures — desiccant adsorption holds a stable low dew point even in cold, dry conditions where condensation dryers fade.
  • Built for continuous duty — engineered for 24/7 process operation at a nominal 9800 m³/h of dry air (up to 10500 m³/h maximum).
  • High moisture removal — up to 55.1 kg/h, i.e. 1322.4 kg over 24 hours, from a single unit.
  • Permanent ducted integration — installed into your air-handling system for whole-room or process-specific drying.
  • Building-management ready — integration options such as BACnet connectivity available on request.
  • Three-phase industrial supply — 3/PE/380–480 V, 50–60 Hz, 74 kW installed power.

Typical applications

  • Pharmaceutical and food production requiring controlled humidity
  • Freeze-drying and low-dew-point process lines
  • Dry storage of moisture-sensitive goods and materials
  • Waterworks and water-treatment facilities preventing condensation on tanks and pipework
  • Continuous industrial process drying in permanently installed plant
