The TROTEC TTR 300 is a portable desiccant (adsorption) dehumidifier built for demanding drying at low temperatures and low dew points. It removes up to 0.7 kg/h of moisture (≈ 16.8 kg per 24 h) and operates across a wide working range down to −15 °C, making it a versatile workhorse for industry and restoration.
How it works
The TTR 300 does not chill air to squeeze out water. Instead it passes process air through a slowly turning rotor impregnated with hygroscopic silica gel, which adsorbs water vapour straight from the airstream and releases dry air at the Ø 100 mm connection. A heated regeneration sector continuously bakes the collected moisture out of the rotor and carries it away as warm, humid exhaust, so the desiccant is always ready to adsorb again. This makes drying independent of the ambient dew point and effective in cold conditions where refrigerant dehumidifiers stall.
