The TROTEC TTR 400 D is a professional portable desiccant (adsorption) dehumidifier with dual regeneration for maximum drying efficiency in continuous industrial use. It removes up to 1.6 kg/h of moisture (≈ 38.4 kg per 24 h) and holds consistent output even at the lowest dew points.
How it works
Like every TTR, the 400 D dries by adsorption: process air passes through a slowly rotating rotor coated with hygroscopic silica gel that binds water vapour directly from the airstream and delivers dry air to the process. What sets this model apart is its dual regeneration — the rotor is reactivated across two separate regeneration zones instead of one, so more of the desiccant surface is working at any moment. This raises capacity and energy efficiency while keeping drying entirely independent of the dew point, making it effective in cold, unheated conditions.
