The TROTEC TTR 500 D is the flagship mobile adsorption (desiccant) dehumidifier in the TROTEC TTR range, engineered for continuous, industrial-grade drying at very low dew points. Its dual regeneration (DualDry) rotor delivers a dehumidification capacity of up to 2.2 kg/h — around 52.8 kg over 24 hours, even in cold, unheated environments where refrigerant dryers lose effectiveness. Fully mobile, it is built for demanding process drying, large-scale restoration and the protection of moisture-sensitive stored goods.
How it works
Unlike condensation dryers, the TTR 500 D draws moisture out of the air with a slowly rotating desiccant rotor that adsorbs water vapour directly from the process air. A separate heated regeneration airflow then drives the captured moisture out of the rotor and exhausts it outside, while the DualDry dual-regeneration principle recovers energy across two zones for stable, efficient continuous operation. Because adsorption drying does not rely on air temperature, the machine keeps its full performance down to −15 °C — precisely where cooling-based dryers fail.
