The TROTEC VSP-CD 140-400 is a centring aid for the pipe camera of the TROTEC VSP3041 inspection system. It is a roller carriage with a 3-point scissor-leg chassis that can be pre-set continuously to the inner diameter of the pipe to be inspected. It keeps the camera head in the centre of the pipe section while the camera is pushed forward smoothly, and its integrated illumination improves the view of the pipe section.
How it works
Before the inspection you set the scissor-leg chassis to the inner diameter of the pipe. The three roller legs then support the carriage evenly against the pipe wall, so the camera head of the VSP3041 pipe camera runs centrally through the pipe section and can be advanced easily. The integrated illumination adds light to the pipe section for a clearer image. TROTEC lists the VSP-CD 140-400 as an accessory for the VSP3041 inspection system; it is not a stand-alone camera.
