The TROTEC TFV 300 is a radial fan with a large air delivery capacity at high air pressure for a wide range of supply and extract ventilation tasks in industry and construction. It delivers up to 7,000 m³/h free-blowing and 5,000 m³/h at 1,900 Pa, with a maximum pressure of 2,800 Pa, on a 400 V / 4 kW drive. According to TROTEC it maintains a high air delivery capacity even over long air transport runs with several bends and hose distances of 40 metres. This is the standard version without explosion protection; on request TROTEC supplies the TFV 300 in an explosion-protected version (TFV 300 Ex).
How it works
Unlike an axial fan, the TFV 300 moves the air perpendicular to the impeller axis on the principle of a centrifuge: the air is pressed outwards and compressed in a spiral (volute) housing. According to TROTEC this technology not only ensures high delivery pressure but also makes the blower insensitive to heavily contaminated air with a high dust content. The unit has one fan stage and can be connected to intake ducts as well as to discharge ducts, so it works for both supply and extract ventilation. The manufacturer photos show a switch box with rotary switch on the motor base.
