The TROTEC TTR 2000 is a high-capacity stationary industrial desiccant (adsorption) dehumidifier for large-scale continuous process duty, delivering a nominal 2,000 m³/h of dry air and up to 10.8 kg of water removal per hour. It holds stable low dew points even at low temperatures and low humidity — the operating window where refrigerant dehumidifiers fall short.
How it works
The TTR 2000 dries air by adsorption. A large volume of humid process air passes through a slowly rotating desiccant rotor that binds water vapour directly from the airstream. A separate heated regeneration airflow continuously drives the captured moisture out of the rotor and expels it, keeping the rotor re-activated for uninterrupted drying. As drying is independent of cooling below a dew point, the unit performs reliably in cold and very dry conditions.
