The TROTEC DH 160 BX ES is a stationary industrial refrigerant dehumidifier engineered for permanent installation and round-the-clock duty, removing up to 245 litres of water per day while moving 2,200 m³/h of process air. Its defining feature is the AISI 316 stainless steel housing, which withstands chlorides and aggressive atmospheres — making it the right choice where standard painted steel would corrode.

How it works

The DH 160 BX ES works on the refrigerant condensation principle. A fan draws humid air across a cold evaporator coil, where the moisture drops below its dew point and condenses out as liquid water. The dried, slightly warmed air is then returned to the space and the collected condensate is drained away. This makes it highly effective at normal ambient temperatures in enclosed, continuously humid rooms.
