The TROTEC TTK 170 S is a rugged, mobile refrigerant dehumidifier built for professional construction drying, water-damage restoration and round-the-clock humidity control. It pulls up to 35.5 litres of water per day from the air (at 30 °C / 80 % RH), making short work of damp basements, new-build screed and utility spaces while remaining light enough for one person to move between sites.
How it works
The TTK 170 S dries by condensation. A fan draws humid room air across a cold evaporator coil, where the moisture condenses into liquid and drains off; the now-dry air is reheated and returned to the room, gradually lowering the relative humidity. Because it works by cooling rather than desiccant regeneration, it is most effective in the typical 5–32 °C band found on active construction sites and in occupied buildings.
