The TROTEC TTR 1400 is a stationary industrial desiccant (adsorption) dehumidifier for heavy continuous process duty, delivering a nominal 1,450 m³/h of dry air and up to 7.4 kg of water removal per hour. It maintains stable low dew points even at low temperatures and low humidity — conditions where refrigerant dehumidifiers become inefficient.
How it works
The TTR 1400 dries air by adsorption. Humid process air flows through a slowly rotating desiccant rotor that captures water vapour directly from the airstream. A separate heated regeneration airflow continuously drives the captured moisture back out of the rotor and expels it, keeping the rotor re-activated. Because drying does not rely on cooling below a dew point, performance stays high in cold and very dry environments.
