The TROTEC TTR 400 is a robust, portable desiccant (adsorption) dehumidifier for heavy industrial drying. It removes up to 1.2 kg/h of moisture (≈ 28.8 kg per 24 h) and delivers a high, adjustable dry-air flow, drying dependably even at low temperatures and low dew points.
How it works
The TTR 400 relies on adsorption, not refrigeration. Process air is guided through a slowly turning rotor coated with hygroscopic silica gel, which binds water vapour straight out of the airstream and supplies dry air to the process. A heated regeneration sector continuously expels the captured moisture from the rotor as warm, humid exhaust, keeping the desiccant permanently reactivated. Since the method works independently of the dew point, it sustains deep drying in cold and unheated spaces where condensation units lose effectiveness.
