The TROTEC WA 4i is the central water separator of the MultiQube system for suction-based insulation drying — an integral solution that combines all pre-HEPA filter stages in a single unit: flow-optimised filter compartment, micro-filter cassette with triple filter element and stainless steel demister. With a 17-litre collection volume and around 25% improved filter performance it protects the downstream drying unit on areas of up to 40 m², while making separate micro-filter housings unnecessary.
How it works
Installed between the suction openings and the drying turbine or blower, the WA 4i deflects the incoming moist air stream at an impact plate, where entrained water drops out and collects in the tank; the stainless steel demister and the F8 micro-filter cassette then separate fine mist and particles before the air continues to the blower. An overflow sensor automatically switches the connected drying unit off (and back on) so the separator never needs supervision. The two patented TTKwic quick couplings additionally accept the condensate hoses of up to two TROTEC dehumidifiers with condensate pump (hose connection 12 mm), turning the WA 4i into the central water discharge point of the whole installation.
